Christmas 2008

This is so long over due but we went to home to Rockwood for Christmas and New Year's and I decided not to blog until we got back. This was one of the best Christmas' ever because Peyton is at the perfect age to realise the fun of opening presents, it was to funny seeing her this year. Since we were not going to be back here until January we decided to have our Christmas before we left, so one night we opened our stockings then a few days later we told Peyton that Santa was coming tonight and so after we put her to be we set all her Christmas under the tree so that she would see it the next morning and the look on her face was priceless. On Friday the 19th when Tommy got off of work at about 7 that night we headed to my parents house and since we would be there for 2 weeks we stayed Christmas with my parents and then New Year's with Tommy's family. Saturday we went to some friends house and had like a pot luck dinner everyone brought either dinner or desserts and then the kids opened all their gifts. Sunday we went to church and Peyton looked so cute in her Christmas dress and went back that night, then my parents surprised me with letting Peyton open up one of her gifts with was a little tinkerbelle fourwheeler, for some reason she is really into tinkerbelle these days. Then Monday we had a few of my mom's side of the family over for Christmas and this year we just bought for all the kids, that night Peyton got a vanity, a babydoll, my little pony, the little fake toy food which goes perfect with the kitchen santa got her and a little washing machine so she is all set with the whole house set up but I have no idea where to put all these new toys. On Wednesday we went to candle light serve at church and came home and opened up our gifts at my parents house, we got so much as usual. Then Christmas day we went over to Tommy's granny's house and had Christmas there then over to his parents house and opened up Christmas presents. Since Peyton was old enough to understand opening presents, every time she would open one and then say one more mommy, one more and before she would even see what it was she would tare off one piece and scream, it was so funny.Friday we spent get everything organized and we washing our clothes so that on Saturday we could pack our suitcases and head over to his parents house. Sunday after church we headed to knoxville to meet my aunt, uncle and cousin at madrin house to have Christmas with them. This year for New Year's we just stayed in and watched the ball drop and headed off the bed, we are getting so old...ha ha!. I'm glad to back home and I'm trying to get things in order but we had such a wonderful Christmas this year and I hope everyone did too. Here is all the pictures hope you enjoy!!
